November 3rd, 2020 U.S.A. Presidential Elections Horoscope by Alinda Kanaki

The 2020 United States presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020. It will be the 59th quadrennial presidential election. Voters will select presidential electors who in turn will vote on December 14, 2020, to either elect a new president and vice president or reelect the incumbents Donald Trump and Mike Pence respectively. The series of presidential primary elections and caucuses were held from February to August 2020. This nominating process is an indirect election, where voters cast ballots selecting a slate of delegates to a political party's nominating convention, who then elect their parties' nominees for president and vice president. Considered a referendum on the Trump presidency, the major two-party candidates are Republican incumbent President Donald Trump and Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden.

Central issues of the election include the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has left more than 230,000 Americans dead; protests in reaction to the police killing of George Floyd and other African Americans; the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett; and the future of the Affordable Care Act, with Biden arguing for protecting and expanding the scope of the legislation, and Trump pushing for its repeal. 

Trump secured the Republican nomination without any serious opposition alongside incumbent vice president Pence. Former vice president Joe Biden secured the Democratic nomination over his closest rival, Senator Bernie Sanders, in a competitive primary that featured the largest field of presidential candidates for any political party in the modern era of American politics. On August 11, 2020, Biden announced that his running mate would be Senator Kamala Harris, making her the first African-American, the first Indian-American, the first Asian-American, and the third female vice presidential nominee on a major party ticket (after Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 and Sarah Palin in 2008). Jo Jorgensen secured the Libertarian nomination with Spike Cohen as her running mate, and Howie Hawkins secured the Green nomination with Angela Nicole Walker as his running mate.

The winner of the 2020 presidential election is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 20, 2021. If elected, Biden would become the oldest person to serve as president at 78 years old on the day of his inauguration, and the first candidate to defeat an incumbent president in 28 years since Democrat Bill Clinton defeated Republican George H. W. Bush in 1992. This is the first presidential election in which both major candidates are over 70.

The 3^rd of November is a very important date, as the hole world will be waiting the final outcome of the American Presidential Elections. The elections will be only a few days apart from the Blue Moon of October 31, a full Moon in Taurus, conjunct Uranus, the Lord of the unexpected and ruler of the U.S.A, with Mercury square Saturn and Mercury stationary direct on November 3^rd. It is a powerful Moon, greatly influenced by Uranus.

An analysis of the natal charts of the two candidates indicates, that both of them have equal chances of winning the Presidency. Gemini Donald Tramp has in his favor an extremely positive Uranus-Mercury aspect, as Mercury is the ruler of this horoscope and Uranus is the ruler of the U.S.A. Scorpion Joe Biden has also in his favor some strong planetary aspects of Mercury with Pluto and Jupiter.

A prediction of the possible outcome of the election under such strong influence of Uranus is like taking a step in the dark, in a completely unknown territory. Willing to take the risk, we can expect, that there will be almost a tie between the two opponents. An end result, separating winner from loser by only a few thousand votes, could raise controversies and lead to suspicions of adulteration of the final result.

In a way, there’ll be some similarities to the outcome of the elections of 2000 between A. Gore and G. Bush Jr., with an unpredictable winner. As the society is currently deeply divided, accusations about any kind of fraud could lead to unfortunate events. Let us hope, that there will be no unpleasant surprises, as it’ll be very easy under the influence of the unpredictable and revolutionary Uranus, protests to escalate to demonstrations, riots and even uprisings.
